death in recovery

I had the oppurtunity to experience a true miracle today.

The man that helped get NA started in our area and a man I was personally close to died at the age of 78 years old 28 years clean. It was an honor to be there when he took his last breath. so if you pray pray for his family and for those in this area that will grieve his death.

I know this is a first for me to grieve period let alon clean I was always so selfish i denied many deaths in my family. And to taoday i could get out of self to experience a true miracle. it just goes to show WE DO RECOVER.

ty MIP for all your support in the many trials I have been thru the support and recovery in the group is beyond understanding I am grateful to have you as part of my family

This is truly a reson to celabrate

Thanks for sharing this, Manon. I will surely have your friend in my prayers tonight. I also lost a couple of NA friends, apart from a childhood friend this last couple of weeks...
