I try to get here everyday, and read whats new , but an amazing thing always happens ....
It always seems like there are messages that i'd missed.
responses i didn't grasp the first time round. every time i come here , i learn something new. i guess the saying " the teacher will appear when the student is ready" works even on the message board...lol... sometimes i have to go back to get the message that i need for that day. the message was there the day before , but i wasn't ready to hear it or obsorb it at that time.
so i keep going through the messages picking up new things every time...you should try it and see if i'm right ... or is it just me....LOLOL....glad to have you all here , and thanks for sharing ..
Peggy, that is so true. I have experienced that in these online message boards. It happens even with reading our literature. What I would have read a few weeks or months back and seemed far away from what I wanted then, would suddenly be the very thing that I need today, and even the meaning and implication of the same line would be so expansive and more deeper...
My Sponsor is an online one and sometimes, for many a days, I don't or can't contact him at all due to various reasons or circumstances... But still, I go thru his mails folder and continue to draw fresh and deeper insights and perspectives for my current issues and problems.
I guess, as long as we are passionate about recovery and honestly look for inputs and solutions in NA, our Higher Power continues to reveal more and more, in magical ways...
So thank you so much Peggy, for sharing your reflections on this aspect, and hence making me alert once more to see thru the eyes of the program all that is naked for my otherwise, naked eye...
