a year actually, was a long, horrible slip. Just about didn't make it. Believe me, nothing out there changed!!


Working on day 13 today. Thank God i only have to concern myself with this moment...now if i could only STAY in this moment mindfully. Practice makes correction:)


I hate addiction.


can we say a prayer for myself and those still suffering in and out of the program?

I like to be positive with slips, I had one too awhile back just get what you can from it and move foreward 13 days is a good start it gets easier just take it day by day moment to moment.

Take a look ever so closely to what brought the relapse on, start even before the relapse because we actually relapse in our minds before we actually do it physically. Usually emotional things like dissapointment, expectations, certain delusions about using and we definetly lie to ourselves, TIME TO GET HONEST!!!!!!!!!!


GLAD you are back , keep coming back your very important to the survival of this program and you are very important to us

but i think we addicts forget that na is an action program.


pray in action.


make meetings(never got high at one)


get a sponsor


build relationship with other clean addicts(in here)


keep coming

WELCOME HOME !!!!!  


A year is a long time.  Welcome Back...!!! the road down is a slippery slope, easy to slide on your ass all the way to the bottom, to hell...but the road back is like climbing Mount Everest!!! every step is an incredably arduous jouney.


sometime we have to hit bottom to see the road back.


That you've been back for thirteen days is awsome!!!!! i had a hell of a time before i made it back , thought i was going crazy, was actually wanting someone to lock me up , i was so screwed up. anything would of been better then where i found myself at the end of my using!


when i stumbled across NA, wild eyed and deperate , i found people who understood exactly where i'd been... how i got there... and how to help me back.....


i've been clean again for 5 months now , and even on my hardest day straight is better then my best day using.


you've taken the hardest step already...stopping, if you hang is there , one moment at a time , one day at a time , one meeting at a time ,


once you  get to the top of that mountain...the view from the top is GREAT, from there you can see all the opportunaties there are out there for you. where before you could only see the dark wall of your addition , trying to smother the life out of you...


I'm so glad you're here, keep coming back ,, and go to meetings...90 meetings in 90 days...


somedays that's all that kept me sane and clean.. knowing a meeting was just a few hours away , and all i had to do is hang on til then...

you don't know (or maybe you do...) how important your welcome is to me. It's scary coming back. Guess i have an issue with acceptance. Good thing i'm back on step 1. I had 14 months clean before i slipped. And yes lots of reasons for my slip. I think the biggest one was too much on my plate...Thanks for the worksheet link, i'll check it out. I've been to a meeting everyday for the last 6 so far. I jumped on the geographical cure wagon...its ok, so far its really helping...anyway, I moved to a smaller community and there is only 2 NA meetings a week..Monday and Tuesday (wish one was closer to the weekend..) .so AA has been taking care of me otherwise. I'm having a hard time concentrating and staying on track with my thoughts. Had some harsh cravings today but made it through. So if i've not acknowledged something someone has said above please don't take it personally.


Does anyone know where i can find the basic text online to read? Cash is scarce for me right now. I might try to get up my nerve to ask to borrow one tonight at the meeting...


Stopping is not as hard as staying stopped...i've stopped a thousand and one times...

I love hearing someone say they could just cry, that means your glad to be back now STAY with all your might just hang in there one day at a time stop trying to do more then that and stop trippin on stuff, it's all stuff that mess's us up and we can get past the stuff thing and use the principles of the program and all of the slogans that come with it, read the slogans they really help .

I am definetly going to try and get to the Sunday one, thats usually my only day off anymore, alot of times i'm out fishing on Saturday night, i've shown up to a couple wednesday meeting but really ought to be there more when I can, been studying alot and trying to cram and still do all my other stuff like the gym and staying in touch with friends, boy I got excuses don't I LOL
