guilt

one of my biggest problems is the overwhelming guilt I feel over the kind of person I have been, the kind of mother, daughter, friend, etc. I wasn't feeling anything when I was using all the time, and now what do I do with this guilt? I know, you'd think that would be the only incentive I would need, but it feels like it is choking me....

Adriana change doesn't come overnight, at least not for the majority of us, it takes TIME.

Once we start doing things differently and more positive, then we start feeling better about ourselves and have less to feel guilty about.

When sober we deal with the things that bring us guilt , shame , remorse and we stop doing the things that bring those feelings on.

You are in conflict driven by conflict within yourself, once you start living without that conflic ( living right) then guilt will be removed.

The way I look at it is if I don't have guilt i'm a psychopath so we're definetly not psychopaths LOL.....
