At 4:20 I used to toke up with my friends.. I found a new way to celebrate 4:20... I found it a good time to do what we do at the start of every meeting... have a moment of silence for those addicts still suffering. Just my thought for today -Marek, recovering addict
It's ALL ABOUT doing things differently and breaking habits and behaviors.
I had no idea what I was going to do when I quit using, I knew my health was bad so I went down to Ballys and joined the gym it was a 3 year contract and not cheap and I made it a goal to stay sober and finish out that contract.
I made it there every single friday evening instead of what I normally did which was cop my dope and drink from friday till Sunday or when the money ran out, whichever came first. I became obsessed with working out then LOL 7 days a week I worked out and learned a hard lesson from that injuring myself several times lifting weight LOL but heck at least I got most of my health back just new problems. I've adjusted my workout now only by trial and error though .
