NA MEETINGS

I am reading a lot about na meetings and how everyone should go them why is it important to goto them? what are they about? If they help with my addiction i will go, i just want to know what i'm getting myself into.

Welcome to narcotics Anonymous.
The heart of the NA program is one addict helping another. Just about the only place where you can meet CLEAN addict working a program of recovery is a NA meeting.
You won't be force to say or do anything and you probably won't be the only newcome their. In most NA meeting half the people there will have nder a year clean and half of those under 30 days.
You really have to see for yourself. For myself I felt that the other addicts in the room were just like me (I'd felt like and outsider my whole life) and that in the rooms I'd found a place to make a stand and not run anymore. Good luck. Bob.

I went to one last night there were only 4 of us there and after the meeting 2 of them came to me and said i'd helped them, just by me telling them about my relapse heck they even asked me to come back sometime that never used to happen

Meetings are the only place on this planet that I relate to others , those are my people that is my heritage so to speak.
