Question For Someone Experienced

Looking to speak with some people who have had success in the program with a dilemma I got myself into.
I tried writing this all down several times but I'd really like to be able to talk to someone personally either in DMs or by phone. If you are available to message me on here I will see if I can figure out how to message. My number is 863 585 6033, please text first as I get too many spam calls.

Long story short is that after years of sobriety and dealing with medication taper I slipped a few days ago. My doctor is very much aware of my addiction history. I knew that tapering was not going to be a walk in the park but now I am faced with a dilemma. Should I tell my doctor about my slip? It was several days ago and I have absolutely no desire to use but I don't know if the doctor could do anything to help or if it would just complicate my taper. I'm not sure if anyone reading this will understand why I am trepidatious about sharing with her. I've told her everything from the start but she doesn't really know me as I see her once every 3 months for 20 minutes just to make sure my taper is going alright. I would also add that the slip I had was after 2 drops in medication that led to a very physical sort of anxiety. I'd discuss more if anyone is able to offer advice I'd love to hear it.

Thanks

Daniel
