new to the forum. i am going cold turkey today. stated a few yrs ago for fun with friends couple pain killers then over time is was 6-8 a day.. what can i expect cant tell anyone so going to do this alone

....welcome 'Beemer',,,,I'd say,,as an answer to your question, that you'll likely feel some degree of pain.
....I'd suggest that you might find a lot of support if you find a meeting in your area,,where you can learn and share with other addicts.....certainly it's helped me a lot in my recovery.
...secrets are often referred to as 'reservations's...something that's always calling me back...it's good to be able to let go of these whenever possible

Welcome. I'd also strongly suggest that you start going to NA meetings. Alone, I am no match for my addiction. But with help of NA, I can stay clean and learn a new way to live.
