Hey Kentucky, what's up............yes, I read the book by James F., I thought it was ok.....I was a little bummed that he didn't belive in using a 12 step program, he definitely wasn't open for any of that. Did you see him on Oprah?, where he admitted to lieing in the book....I'm not just saying this now because he was on there,..but I thought he exaggerated a bit.....but I know thats easy to say now...but it is what I felt.......I did enjoy some of the stories he told......now its a matter of if they were true or not..lol...well thats my little piece on that...maybe I'll be talking to you later.....bye

Yes I also saw the Oprah interview the first and the second one. While he may have embelished certain aspects of the book I don't see how that took away from it at all. It was basically about him and getting over his addiction the things he lied about were really not that important to the story while they may have had a drama type thing to them, the real story was him overcoming his addiction.  I had spoke to him recently and offered my support as I was definitely worried that all the controversy could throw him back in to active addiction, but he is doing great and i believe he will overcome all the negativity surrounding his book.  As we know all addicts lie and see things diffferently then others do, I thought everyone was after me while i was active in my addiction but it was'nt true so thats why I fully support James Frey I feel like whatever works works ya kno...... thanks for replying

I am reading it right now! I can't put it down. I think it was wrong to lie about it, but It still is a great book. I can feel his pain in his words and it comforts me to know someone else could feel the same way I have felt. PAIN! I can't wait to get to the end.  Did you know there is a second book? It's called Lenord. It's next on my list.
