I have not been on this form for a few years now. I receive e-mails for a post I subscribed to, the Birthdays post. So i did not forget about this forum. I am working with one of my sponsees and she is having a hard time getting to meetings, so i remembered what I did when I had that issue...I found you wonderful people! I suggested she try finding an online forum and and I decide to come and post her. I love the program, especially when it works in full circle just as it has now. I have learned that if I want to keep what I have I need to give it away. I will celebrate 5 years in May, god willing :) This program is amazing. I went through a lot in the last few years...the suicide of my now ex-husband, having my little Alaska taken away from me by the state due to my history, even though I stayed clean and sober. Lots of pain and you know what it was the most amazing thing to grab on to the iron rod and feel the emotions that life has to offer, positive or negative they are all useful and for the first time in my life I was able to experience life on lifes terms with out picking up. Good things happen too. I am now an Office manager at State Farm insurance and am in a wonderful healthy relationship with someone who is also in recovery. Things are just as they shoud be....i did not say as I want them to be hahaha Its a wonderful journey, I am enjoying the ride
