If you believe that God's grace has saved you, then you must believe that He is meaning to save you yet more and to keep you in the way that you should go. Even a human rescuer would not save you from drowning only to place you in other deep and dangerous waters. Rather, he would place you on dry land, there to restore you. God, who is your rescuer, would certainly do this and even more. God will complete the task He sets out to do. He will not throw you overboard, if you are depending on Him.
July 5th I just realized it yeasterday I had 6 years LOL I usually get a reminder from Earthgroup web site but they've shut down, didn't get the reminder until a friend reminded me, he's clean the same month and i've known hium a few years now.
So what a blessing!!! but some days I wonder how I will go on this is when I turn to a higher power and am reminded that I'm not doing this by myself and I get strength and power I don't have a lone threw that Love and grace, if your new this dependency is a good!!! odd as that may sound , it can save your life if and when your willing ti give your whole self over to it.....
Way to go Vin,congratulations on 6 years.Thank you for your help thru the years,sharing your ESH in a spiritual manner and carrying our message of hope a day at a time.!!

Congratulations on being blessed with 6 years! Thank you for the words of inspiration. I often wonder when God will relieve me from the constant pain I have had to endure this past year dealing with an undiagnosed, yet severe illness. I have to believe God will deliver me to dry land--in his time--not mine.

if i may say....i remember from your shares of 6 years ago what yer had to go thru to get to this here anniversary. you are a seen miracle... a real testimony that NA works for those who work it. Youre my oldest friend here and a Solid Inspiration....
btw...maybe we should get the anniversary dates thing sorted so that theres a mention for each of us here on that particular day........

Thank you one and all. Yes Raman we are here many years now I think i've grown but little LOL but my growth in spirit has been whats saved me from hopelessness .
Brookevale, always have hope and faith even in pain people recover it is pain that most of us don't do well whether it is physical or emotional we dont know how to suffer well.
I have had back pain many years sometimes severe, especially when i work its constant and its chronic, now with arthritis in back and hands and these are the tools of my making a living, hep C brings fatigue and pain and i live on ibuprophen ( sparingly ) I tried narcotic meds and ended up relapsing after 5 years clean, i know to there are much more severe pains people live with and you must come to terms with that thru doctors, medicines and spiritual means.
It is not me that does this other then a daily willingness to surrender part of my life to a higher power to help me with my powerlessness, without that i would have no life today.
