Today we finally got our Florida licenses after waiting for my Birth certificate to come back from NewYork.Somewhere in the "storm" I lost it.Reregistered our cars few weeks ago and settling in in the over 55 community LEISUREVILLE(check that monicker huh!)Next on tap looking for part time work, new Band and a new homegroup, possibly a new sponsor. My wife busy with her family (dad in hospital ,mom more incapacitated by her dementia)We have both prayed and know we are were we are supposed to be.Daughter got a teaching job and a new car and of course she is also broke(thats $$$ but still rich in spirit)They are still living with us and it has been a little strain but we take it day by day.Daughters husband interviews tomorrow and hopefully connects and they can begin planning for move to their own place..Hooked up with VA here in Florida so got some medical coverage for now and maybe medicare soon....Music scene has been little slow going but got some bites with some players and we'll get together soon. My old band up norht (the DAWGZ) still doing it and having fun and we are in contact often.Been in contact with addicts from up north as we stay connected and continue the WE part of living the NA way.Pray all are well and lurking more than been posting .If you are new WELCOME ,GLAD YOUR HERE ....and always ,WELCOME each working their own process of recovery.Stay in the LIGHT! peace....

Great to hear that things are going well for you. You are a couple of hours south of me but I'm sure we will meet and go to a meeting together at some point. Welcome to the Sunshine state LOL total marketing ploy by the evil genius Mr. Flagler...but thats a story for another day.
Isn't it great that recovery allows us to think about what we need to do for others, especially family. i know when i am using, no matter who needs me I'm absent if not physically then spiritually. Good going
