Hiya my name is andrea and i am an addict with 3 1/2 months clean. I am really in a desperate state and i am needing help. Both my children got murdered on sunday and my whole world has fallen apart I am broken and lost of course because i am an addict my addiction is telling me to use BUT i dont want to i need you guys to reach back out me and show me some love support and phone numbers if possible

I am sorry to hear your terrible loss. I will say prayers for you. I hope you are able to contact your sponsor and other people in your home group or network. Remember, no matter how bad things may seem, using drugs will not make things better. Keep coming back.
Andrea,That's awful ,your loss.How are you coping with it ? Don't use no matter what ,using won't take the pain away.You have to bereave ,over their loss.Get back into meetings,just go try and share.You don't need to tell people about your loss unless you want to. Try and find whoever you knew from meetings and hook up with them.You doing the most important thing ,which is asking for help,and admitting your relapse and Coming Back to start over again.
Words cannot express your loss or pain,I am in prayer for you at this moment.Reach out to someone you have met,see if you can find a meeting,or hopefully you have a sponsor.Call NA helpline if there is no one available.You are correct,using will only make things worse,the disease always wants us back and lays in waiting for horrible times like this..My true condolences...

I'm so very sorry for your loss, I will keep you in my prayers. I know a woman who lost her son, she isn't an addict but she attends special support groups for parents who have lost their children, or people who have lost loved ones- something like that. She's one of the strongest people I know, I was good friends with her son, he died. in a car accident at the age of 17. Tragic. I know that these groups as well as church have helped her though. Please keep coming, don't use no matter what! Your posting this alone has been an inspiration to me. If nobody has told you that they love you today, I sure do. Hang on...
