Hi Kelly,

Welcome! It's gonna be tough with so few meetings but hang in there. One Day at a Time staying Clean is possible. One Hour or One Minute at a time if that's what it takes. Just don't pick up at the moment. Get as many phone numbers as possible and if you feel like "picking up" pick up the phone instead!

Keep Coming Back.

Welcome. Try to make as many meetings as you can. This online forum can provide useful support, but it is no substitute for human contact. Hang in there, one day at a time. Keep coming back.

Welcome! The best method of success in this program is to get a sponsor, go to meetings, work the steps, stay connected, and get involved!

Sometimes if NA isn't available, we have to start our own meetings. All we really need is a little white book, a pot of coffee, and another addict!

When I first got clean, we had 2 meetings in town. Today we're up to 5! :)

There are online meetings to help supplement your recovery, but really shouldn't take the place of face to face meetings. There's something about the physical presence of another addict that is incredibly therapeutic.

It works - if you work it! :)
