New to the online NA world.

Hello World,

I am thankful to be able to say that today. I have been through alot. I have never seen a counselor, seldomly attended NA meetings, but put myself in the hands of God. I never knew how to share my story, and still do not know how. I do not know if it is just the fact that I am not ready, or I am just scared. I have been clean for nearly 3 years now, and I did it on my own. It took losing everything I had, and a year in prison though. I have been in college for a year, but thinking about changing my major. I feel that I am doing good, but there are pieces of me missing. How can I share my story without breaking down? How can I feel those missing pieces?

Welcome. Online forums can supplement but not replace in-person NA meetings. You don't have to share your story in meetings, at least at first. Most newcomers are encouraged to listen and learn. Hope you can get to some meetings soon. It will make a big difference in your recovery. It has in mine.
