a blind man sat on a side walk with a sign that said
"Im blind, please help".
Many passed by, some noticed and the rare one even threw a coin his way.
Then it so happened that a young marketing student passed by and saw what was going on. And she didnt like what she saw. So, she went up, took the placard and wrote something on the other side, placed it up front and left.
The coins now began pouring in and fore you knew it, our man had a coat full of coins.
So what had happened ?Why were passersby throwing so many coins now ?
Well, the young woman had simply written
" I hear its a fine day, but I cant see it"
Lesson: its not only what we say, but how we say it that makes a difference !

Thanks for this, I needed to hear it. Often times I am told that it's not what I say that hurts so much, but the way that I say it. I am trying to learn how to communicate with others in a manner that conveys respect and tolerance, not judgment.
