Hey guys I'm from a small area and I always love when someone comes from out of town to do the clean time ceremony to hear some good catchy phrases, just wonder if you would care to share any. Thanks
This seems to be about the standard in my area:
white- int color of surrender
orange - orange you glad your here or oranges no more
green - mowing it not smoking it, maybe you have a little in your pocket if not keep comming
red - stop sign red, stop and take a look at your program
blue - BT blue comes with a few suggestions...homegroup, sponsor, and BT
yellow - ur in, ur out
glow - glows in the dark so you don't have to or your sponser can find you in the closet
gray - duct tape gray, duct tape your butt to the chair if you have to
black - only keytag that say recovery for multiple years of recovery
White - Says "just for today" because that's how we do it
Orange - It's a cautionary color, your life is under construction, so just be careful.
Green - the color of GO - go to meetings, go get a sponsor, go get off your ass, go have fun!
Red - no longer the color of my eyes
Blue - color of serenity; if you don't have any serenity, pick up the book with the same color and hopefully you'll find some serenity in its pages
Yellow - the color of courage - it takes a lot of courage to stay clean for 9 months; also the color of friendship - hopefully you're making some new friends in the program
Glow - it's very similar to the first one to remind us that we're only one use away from where it all began
Gray - only one with silver writing to remind us that every gray cloud has a silver lining; not all the glitters is gold
Black - "once you're in the black, you kept coming back, you stayed off of crack, you didn't drink jack, you didn't shoot smack, and that's a fact - and that's sweet - just like this program!"
My area uses all kinds of clean time catch phrases, some are funny, some I don't particularly like, but here a few.
white - give up the fight, pick up a white. orange - orange you glad your here. green - it's green, it's legal, and you can keep it in your pocket red - put a little blood in your drugstream blue - blue skies yellow - ur in now glow in the dark - mooooooooooooooooooooooooonglow. glow's in the dark so you don't have to gray- duct tape grey.........stick to it black - black and gold till you get old
