I got in some trouble way back when,

I thought it was minor that's how I'll begin,

It seems to have followed me all around,

I just can't beat it ,its takes me down,

You think I would get it after all my shame

My mind doesnt listen it's all just a game,

How can I get well if i wont even try

It's not till I got burned that I had a good cry,

I swear off of drugs it won't happen again

I don't know whats wrong with me I'm all full of sin,

Everything I've learned is about to be gone,

Why can't I see what I have become?

I must play back my life from the very start

I'll fix up myself with a daily chart,

I'll log down my triggers and whats on my mind

When I feel those urges I must take some time,

I examine my thoughts and my every mood

so I dont get confused or misunderstood

I have to stay focused and give it my all

I wont let myself take that fall,

If I should slip for just one day,

I'll pick up myself it's worth it to stay,

This program and teachings are all about you,

They teach you ti live life and what we should do,

So im embracing this program with all of my soul,

I'll take what I've learned and set me a goal,

I'll start off slow and forget the past,

I'll live if day as if it was my last,

I know I can do it because I've got the tools,

I've learned them here and not in a school,

Within these wall I feel the love,

Now it's time to give back some of the above

To share my stories and my events

I know how I got help it was heaven sent.
