I am experiencing some anxiety/fear over the looming federal government shutdown. I am a federal employee and I will be sent on unpaid furlough if this happens. The threat of shutdown has been a major distraction at work and makes planning difficult. I need to continue praying about this and trust that everything will be alright.
I will pray that you remain in faith and stay strong no matter what occurs.God is in charge and more will no doubt be revealed. You may want to share with your sponsor or at a meeting (you probably have)to release some anxiety.We are human ,and fear and anxiety are human emotions,our Higher Power wants us to continue putting our faith and trust in that same area that brought us out of the devastation of our addiction..Thanks for sharing Dave,Im sure there are many more feeling these same emotions!! I hear ya. Hubby is usda meat inspector, but still has to work... without pay for the time being... guess we got lucky that he will eventually get reimbursed... I will pray that this passes soon and everyone can get back to work (and get paid!).
Bunch of real losers running this country, spending money on things that dont need to be addressed theres plenty of things that ought to be first and foremost but they dont care they, everyone of them has there own agenda and its all self centeredego driven, self interests, thats the last you'll hear from me on government I get real worked up over this issue . I do hope thoughs of you who's jobs depend on the government( mine does too ) keep faith that Gods will will be done over man, no matter what...
