todays my birthday! im the big 2 0. no more teenage years. its time to grow up and start being an adult. haha who am i kidding! i will never grow up. but i will not use, i will not use, i will not use on my birthday! once i get past my 21st then its off to the most useless birthdays of my life. well except 25 then i can rent a car. woohoo! but thats all. off to bed and work in the morning. have a great day!

Happy birthday. It is a great blessing to have found recovery at a young age because you have your whole life ahead of you. I got clean at age 21 (almost 22). Now I'm 48. I'm damn sure glad I have been clean since age 21 instead of using.

I don't miss those years one bit... I'm 29 now and got clean at 25. I often think, "What would my life be like if I found this program when I was younger?" But I guess it's what makes me - me!

Happy birthday and here's to a lifetime of recovery!

Have a blessed day Liz! that was 43 years ago for me,totally in the grip and things looked hopeless.That seemed like light years ago,and at other times ,just like yesterday!!  Good to see ya!!! Another day clean,celebrating life!!! wow!!!smilesmilesmileI would send a birthday cake but gotta work on my computer skills so here it IS

When i used to drink i used to tell people Happy Barf Dayaww

 

So 20 OMG im seriuos i dont even remember 20 I was using and drinking so much i'm coming up on 50, what a shock hope you get to feel what i'm feeling Liz, even the bad stuff we go threw i try and stay greatful.

Happy Birthday Liz enjoy your youth it doesn't last.......I'm with Vin at 46 in a couple of weeks it's hard to remember being 20 ohhh now I remember and I wish I didn't lol
