Same old, Same old

Guess I've been grasping onto phrases and things that stick out in my mind and then have been spouting them on here. Right now that is where I am in my recovery. The thoughts behind the words are what seem most important.  Many of the sayings and phrases that stick out to me are things I have heard from "old timers" in meetings, followed by their sharing of their experience, strength and hope. Things that lead me to the books to read more and see what they are talking about.  Guess I'm gonna "take the cotton out of my ears and put it in my mouth" for a while. LOL...smile.gif  Something I've never been too good at in my life, but hey, we all can learn. Peace

I try to diligently listen to others, it tells me a lot about them, what they have and how they can help me.

And I try to share whats going on for me and how I use the program to help me get thru this difficult complicated life, because thats what it is for me at times.

I especially try to share about how i am feeling and get that crap out you dont have to wait to talk to a sponsor hell if that was my case i'd be waiting weeks for a call back LOL, so share but stay on track, keep it to your problem with drugs and how you can use the program to make life better.
