Sorry I haven't been checking in but I am ok.  I have stayed clean since Tuesday and have been goign to whatever meetings are available to me.  Even took a newbie with me tuesday night.  I actually felt pretty good yesterday.  Today i woke up with a bad headache and possibly a cold?  not sure.  still goign through lots of sweating any time i exert myself in the least bit.  that's annoying but i can totally deal with that!

My husband (who would buy the pills for me) brought two home on tuesday and I didn't know it until yesterday.  I was home all day - took the day off work.  He told me he got them just in case i was so sick i couldn't stand it.  he hates seeing me in pain.  But i stayed strong and didn't even LOOK at them.  Made him get rid of them yesterday and told him to never do that again.  Have another meeting tonight and looking very forward to it!

I have never prayed so much in my LIFE!!  and thanks to all of you for your support, prayers and motivation!

Excellent! It will get good,then it will get real good,then it will get real!!One day at a time ,way to work it,even a newcomer with one day clean can carry our message of hope to the still sick and suffering(literature) Thats how we do it,One helping another.............Stay blessed!smile

I went to my first NA meeting today hoping to be invisible and just hang. Turns out there were only 2 other people in the room when I got there, one was the chair. Then 2 others came, so there were 5 of us. Each of the other 4 there welcomed me with open arms and no expectations. They encoraged me to share, congratulated me for coming, and made it a point to ask me back. I hope you are feeling ok, or that at least you can tolerate the way you feel. Stay strong and good luck.

WONDERFUL TO HEAR..THIS IS THE KIND OF STUFF THAT REMINDS ME - THAT THIS SHIT WORKS.  WE GO TO MEETINGS, WE DON'T TAKE ANYTHING AND WE START TO FEEL BETTER. GET A LITTLE MORE CLEARER.  AND WE START MAKING BETTER DECISIONS REGARDING OUR LIVES..I AM VERY PROUD OF YOU..KEEP IT UP ..ONE DAY AT A TIME..YIPPEE!!!!!!!!!!!
