Walking pneumonia....bummer....hope u r taking extra good care of self. Eventually I stopped holding on to bad "anniversary" dates and memories. I had to in order to stay clean & sober. Steps 3 and 11 enabled me to become willing to stop revisiting pain (or fear or anger etc.) and concentrate on enjoying each day as a new beginning. For a long time I though it was just not possible to ever stop keeping the past alive, but today I couldn't even dredge those nightmres up if I were to try...and that is a blessing, a gift, and a relief.
