Hi guys, im sorry I completely forgot to share this with yall at FB.
I completed 23 years clean on 21st December, far away from my home group and Fellows.
I was in Andamans (still am), some lovely islands on assignment, fun and romance.
On that anniversary day, i was not very ok, not the best recoverimng addict I could be.
Basically I was a bit scared of the fact that the work that evening was to play sax to a drinking, partying crowd. I was not able to communicate feelings clearly to Sylvie and the poor woman was at the recieving end of my edginess and anger.
Made it thru the nite by smsing pals in the Bangalore Fellowship and remembering to Read, Pray and Meditate.I played some good sax, and then went home and slept.
Was grim and stand-offish with the lovely lady by my side and was certainly being a miserable son of a bitch...
It was a clear reminder that quality of clean time counts and not the quantity.... It was a clear reminder that theres lots of Program still left to do. Im glad Im a member of Narcotics Anonymous and dont have to do this alone... By Gods Grace and Bless yall...

Hey Raman--keep on truckin"-you are an inspiration, especially with the self-inventory that you share, which helps us all. PS-I used a snippet of your sax track you posted a while ago as a ringtone on my new phone-what fun!!
