World keeps turning!

Tonight we find out if my 24 year old son goes back to jail for probation violation,my wife is very sick with a stomach virus and passing out which we will have to go back to doctors, and by God's mercy I am just regaining my strength from a tick born virus I contacted during hunting season.Today I am free and clean of active addiction,I seek the will of my Higher Power and face life's trials with faith that God is "in the house" and it will be what it will be.Through all thing, I am truly grateful..If it is getting very dark in your area, seek the light of your Higher Power and feel the peace"that supasses all understanding.!!Have a blessed and productive day!!smile

It's hard to now what to wish for when it comes to our loved ones.
But I know that your faith is strong.
His will be done Mike.

just joined the board, and this is the first post I read - and its great to start hearing some high quality recovery right from the start!

in my experience, staying clean when life is easy and everything is going MY way is a walk in the park, what seperates the men from the boys is can you keep your attitude of gratitude and serenity when the sh*t hits the fan? So I love to hear guy like you sharing "sure, life is tough, but recovery is still beautiful and Im grateful to be clean!"

when the drugs wear off then real life kicks in, and real life can be a bitch sometimes - but its a bitch thats a hell of a lot easier to deal with when you've got a higher power in your heart than when you've got powder in your veins!

anyway, god bless you for your post man, and hoping that 'this too shall pass' for you real quick,

tim c
