Just getting another day clean

Hello all,

I've recieved an email from John today. Simply put, some of us out here living life on life's terms seem to forget how important it is to take the time to stop, take a breath and just let another recovering addict know they are loved unconditionally.

With that being said, here I am to take a break from all the hustle and bustle of my jobs and remind the newcomer AND myself that we are worth it. What is IT? Let me tell you...........

"IT" is waking up after praying to God before I fell asleep to wake me if he felt I was worthy enough to have another day clean. Seeing the cieling this morning affirmed my belief that it was going to be a good day, so long as I dont use.

"IT" is being given another chance of life after wasting over 30 years having so much "fun", it is all still a blurr to me.

"IT" is the ability and capacity to love another person again.

"IT" is something more than mere words, "IT" is heart-felt, and spirtually vibrant.

"IT" is what we all want, but must work hard to get. You will get "IT" if you follow a few simple steps.

Reach out to another recovering addict when your struggling with ANYTHING. confuse

HOW = Honesty, Open-mindedness, Willingness. In my experience, these 3 indispensible spiritual principals are the key to success. How hard we follow, and be TRUE to them will determine how well we recover.

"IT" is simple

"It" is Narcotics Anonymous, and "it" has saved my life.
