We now know that every time we read the clarity statement we run
the risk of sending newcomers back to the streets.

Here at MIP,,, no one is pressured or forced...
The clarity statement is not read here, so it is an outside issue...

I wonder why sentiments about clarity statement are expressed here when that statement is not part of this forum ???

Exactly my thought Raman,
why does this keep coming up?
What is the motive of those who continue to resurrect this divisive topic.
No one who regularly posts here EVER tells ANYONE what words to use or not use.
It is simply not an issue at MIP.
I really don't get it.

For me it is no mystery and I for one am once again moving on! Me thinks I am more susceptible to things I say I am not susceptibe to, but through my lessons I am learning!  EASE ON DOWN THE ROAD!!!!smile

I reckon, someone's just changed them's monicker and raking up stuff again,,,

I was a hard drugging, hard driving user, and am now a hard thinking, hard working addict in recovery,,,

I welcome any challenges that may arise,,,

i know that as long as I am NA specific and relate to MIP,, all will be well....

As your na tradition lessons have taught you.

That treatment center lingo is NA,,their own experience,,
The NA way is to encourage the newcomers to share their own
experience.And also the NA way is to encourage new comers to use their own words when shareing their own experience.
The NA way is NOT to tell these new comers that their language is NOT
NA,,,,,,,,,,

Obssessing on how to change things to suit my convenience became very apparent after I stopped using.

I pretended I was going the social way and taking up social causes and standing up for righteousness.

Then on closer examination of motives, I realized this was camoflauge.....
I was hiding behind bonafide motives to satisfy my malafide intentions....

Never works,,, thank God Im not obssessed like that anymore and even if it comes up again, I know what to do,, just walk away.
