Here I am at this famous fashion shop,, blowing my guts out. Thanks Goodness I was well applauded all the way,,,I think that clean time and recovery speak for themselves.
Well,, I like to share this too, a feeling I had that nite.
The place was full of all em page 3 types and other hangers on and there was a buzz. I was thinking how nice it was to be ther and play music for them without being judgemental. I had an NA friend there too, a relative newcomer, someone I know from way back then.
Then it happens that a world known actress, the chief celeb for that nite, gives me a smile , says Im playing fab music and the asks the photographer to click us together. He did.
Then I was feeling very greatful to her for being so cool. Funny thing was I felt like kissing her all over her beautiful body,,, and I was hoping that my thoughts and feelings couldnt be read by her,,,

It's like I was complaining to my sponsor of that time on how Id lost valuable, precious things in my using. Top of the list was music, it had slowly faded away and my entire waking hours were dedicated to using and finding more drugs to use. He'd heard me out and in a very serene voice said
" Look, if you work this Step (4) and then feel the sinciere desire to change, then youll have a chance to live your life all over again"
That promise is coming true and I know fr certain, by the Grace of that it will get better, as long as I remember Im a recovering musician.

Yes,, Im greatful to that celeb, great for my marketing. Maybe I had all kinda thoughts but she ? What about her ? She most probably was just gracing " old man nobody who sings-sax for his supper" by posing for that snap,, thereby doing her good deed for the day,,,, heh,heh,heh !
Maybe I should have played "Isnt she lovely" for her,,, she was just that.

Seems Ive got a complex going wherein when Im doing well, Im actually witing for a jealous person to come along and abuse me or cut to to ribbons with the tongue.
I seem to have no defense as they come in all shades, shapes and sizes !!
