Just wanted to share with my NA Family - Today in Anchorage, AK is beautiful and the last few days its been sunny and warm - If any of you get a chance please contact me and come see GOD's country. As for me it's getting better - the other day I was pretty evil but got thru it - PMS AGAIN! Just continued doing what I do - meetings, sharing, connecting, praying and working with others - even got some step work done - and guess what I got thru - without having to make to many amends, didn't have to use or continue to act out. What a blessing - yesterday I told my job I would like to get off early - just because I wanted to go work on my porch and yard - They said "go for it" what a blessing - just to be able to tell the truth and have supported workplace that encourage you to take care of yourself..Life is good.
It all sounds so good. workin on the porch.....totally God's country stuff. Down by me in F L A it's just about summer...temps closing in on the 90's and the humidity on the rise. God's "other" country LOL
Thanks for sharing that Fiesty, that was amazing what you shared about telling the truth at workplace, and what happened as a result. The other day when I had a situation and just didn't know what to do, that's the direction I got - Try Honesty! And it worked out wonderfully well contrary to all my fears and need to find good excuses/reasons
