So as requested by avid I will tell you my story on how my god revealed itself to me.
It had been foggy for a few day, and we were doing a training hike day. We were going up this trekkers climb and I was feeling really sick from the altitude. I was too tired to go on, so I decided to stop and that I was going to sit and just wait for the group to come back down. It was also very very windy that day.
As I sat there by myself the winds calmed down and the skies opened up for me. The mountain Ama Dablam was there. A face in the mountain appeared to me and I was filled with the most calm, serene feeling I had ever felt. I knew in my heart that this was my higher power and that everything was going to be ok. I realize that I was sent a message to stop at that exact spot to experience this event. The rest of the group never saw this because they were still climbing in the fog. I know now that my higher power exist and that feeling is a little unexplainable... the only thing that comes to my mind is complete inner peace and calmness :) I now know who I pray too and how to do it. I learned how to pray on this trip by praying on all the prayer wheels in the area. I bought myself a prayer wheel for my house and I finally am comfortable praying, I never understood how to do it before.
