Morning spent with beloved sorting out his and mine for the progressing separation. An old friend's brother is in hospice and dying. Lost a pair of gold earrings with sentimental value. Strained leg, arm and back muscles-in pain.
A rough day.
Sober, straight, grateful, higher-powered, had time with beloved, hospice providing major comfort to friend & brother, earrings represent the love, still have the love, Advil is great stuff, back feeling better.
Consclusion: a rough, but good day.

Thanks Lee,for keeping in tune with both the positive and the not so positive events of each day!I also had a friend, worked for me for about 15 years, went out in peace thru the help of Hospice.Being grateful for where we are now ,compared to where we were then, keeps things in perspective.Through practise and the help of our HP we keep moving forward, never having to use again and finding the "good" parts in "not so good situations.I use Ibuprofen when my muscles get torqued. Some of other relievers mess with my Tinnitus(loud whistling in my head from years of drumming and shotguns)I wish you peace my friend!Im going to say you find the earrings!!!(I feel that??) Cherish the love you still have

Thanks...life is so hard, it's just breathe, breathe, breathe, all the time!! The separation is the painful thing, of course, but I am very grateful that we are not enemies and we can, and do, still express love for each other. In some ways that's even harder than the "gimme back my cd's and get your stuff out" kinda break up! It's just a day or so now for my friend's brother, but he is comfortable and saying his goodbyes, so there is some relief in that. Mike, I'll just wait patiently for my earrings to show back up LOL! At least I know I won't use over it.
