Maybe its not all men , just the ones you attract or are attracted to. We teach others how to treat us . Its a simple lesson for complicated people. Heres how I began solving just this kind of problem . My wife and I had a very explosive relationship..She would scream and yell. I would scream and yell . We would chase each other around the house throwing things until she locked herself in the nearest room and sob uncontrolled for hours.

It drove me crazy so I told my sponsor about it . His suggestion ? Lets pray for her , Put her entirely in Gods hands . In the meantime you stop screaming at her, stop chasing her and stop throwing shit ..Wanna know what happened ? As soon as I stopped acting like a madman God preformed a miracle on my wife . She stopped doing all that crazy shit .

Abstaining from sex, spending, and for that matter, drugs too, always led to being depressed.

Been long since I used drugs,, but only recently abstained from complusive sex and spending !!

The urge does come up and when I abstain from spedning and sex, it is usually followed by depression. To add to my misery, the last year was Hep.C treatment time, and all the attendant suffering that highlighted the depression and sense of isolation.

But,,, yes the big but,, is the fact is that support from Fellows and following the NA Program takes me safely thru those feelings !
