What`s the bigger struggle , for you , romance or finance ? Why ?

Great question Tisa2U and difficult to answer.

Both are a struggle for me. If I had to choose I would say romance. Mostly because men I'm interested in will not accept me because of my disease.

They don't want to deal with a woman who has proven that she is not stable in the past. I'm doing well now and have been for years. Yes, I do tell them that and bring them to a meeting but as soon as they realize it is a disease and there is always a chance of relapse they are fearful of that and disappear. Frustrating, to say the least.

So, what is one to do? Should we stick to dating other addicts?

Hey Tisa!   easy for me  I am a broke dude head over heels in love with my wife.....finances to this day are not my most responsible area,I have that ingrained gamblers mindset(immediate gratification thing)good thing my wife is stable in this area,we'd both be livin in a box!!!!!          :)
