Pulling it back and sayin a prayer instead

well it worked at least when I tried it LOL ANGER, I pulled it back before it came out of my mouth then I prayed the serenity prayer and i got through an IMPOSSIBLE situation, Just thought i'd throw that out it didnt work the next time i got mad becuase I DIDNT TRY bleh but at least now i have found something that works I literally have to see my self reaching out and pulling the anger frustration judgement, sarcasm etc etc BACK to me then I say a prayer and i calm down really quick and handle things much like Christ might HEH HEH, ok not that well but close.

Visual imagery like you described, followed immediately by a "effective pause" (prayer, stress reduction, leaving--whatever) is a cornerstone of my spiritual survival while learning to handle myself better.
