It means that I have a responsibility to the Fellowship as a whole. As a member of NA, I may be the only Recovery some people ever glimpse. If I'm not acting in accordance with Spiritual Principles... if I'm not sharing a Message of Recovery... if I'm not following our Traditions... if I'm bogged down in Personalities instead of Principles... if I buy into the drama, back-biting, and BS... then I am doing a disservice to the Felllowship, as well as to my own personal recovery.

In the old AA meetings, they used to put a bottle of Gin in the middle and tell members who were not on board with the group conscience of sobriety to take a drink. Nothing worse than whiners at a meeting bitchin about the "Good o'l days" when the good days are linked only to sobriety
Common Welfare - That is the caring for each other , because we are all common people ,with common problems , we are addicts , and NA ia a WE fellowship , and we are the recipients ofthe common welfare
