I miss my baby girls on holidays the most. Wanted to share a picture of 4 of my 5 kids from last Christmas. My girls are 11,12,and 14(just turned) and were told by their stepmom they are too old to go trick or treating. I went til i was a sophmore in high school! lol Ran into a problem with the custody suit. I know for a fact that the girls would answer daddy if asked where they want to be. ...because they would be afraid not to! It would cos roughly 10-15,000! to have them fully evaluated to prove that! Was told that a judge would not just give them to me if they replied daddy without "just cause" SO ANNOYED. these are MY kids. I am so angry that I have so fight him over them when it is all about him not wanting to have to pay me child support! If I didnt have to ask for cs, which i do, he would not give them to me. He has told me that!
Good for you LIZ! Ive been thinking about you..... you will get through it, and we will be here with you the whole step of the way.
I think i might get out and see some kids trick or treating. If we lived by each other Id come and pick you up! might do us both good to see some smiling happy faces!
I went to a meeting last night mainly because i knew there were going to be members there with out there children to take tircker treating and they would be hurting. Well yes there were several actually and it was a very sad meeting in some ways.
One lady had her daughter there the other sister who was a twin of the one in the meeting died the day before and i am not sure how, another mans 3 children were in custody of CPS, another mans daughter had died the previous year and he was just so sad and missing his baby.
SO it can be so so much worse for some folks out there i am glad i went to that meeting there weren't many there the meeting topic was relationships so i got to share and i had a man come to me after the meeting and share some wisdom with me, he said " you need to treat your girlfriend like you treat your mother ", thats so true I thanked him for that and he shared that he had just lost his wife recently after 43 years of marriage, yet he was there helping others, what a wonderful program with wonderful caring people.
I think i might get out and see some kids trick or treating.
