After a lot of going back and forth internally, I have decided that I want to get back into the program. I haven't been to a lot of meetings in quite a while...partly due to my life ( work and family) and partly because I wasn't sure if it was something i wanted to return to. But you know what...i have been making a decision about the program without ever really working the program and giving it a chance. Ive let the personalities Ive met along the way scar my interpretation. So I need to see for myself ... and the only way to do that is to get started. Ive found an online sponsor for now (thanks to this site) and am getting started. Some days this site is all I have as far as recovery oriented material..... So thanks for being here. And I really want to make some new friends here!!!!

The reason that na works if you work it is because it was written by addicts who have" been there done that". They were brilliant people! A person with a day clean can help a person with 5 years in something they said or did. Thats the beauty of it all. I love this site! ( though I have to be careful not to let it help me to stay isolated which lately it has )
