At about 100 days clean I got layed off of my job. At 16 months clean I got called back. I showed up this morning at 6:20 am and went to the bathroom. At 6:24 one of my old workmates asked me if I " needed anything " Life happening that soon took me by surprise. I answered nope , just for today.

The fundamental delusion of humanity , is to suppose that I am here and you are out there .
My beloved is a challenge for me right now...keeping it in "today", a day at a time, is forcing me to look at things in many different ways than if I were projecting and predicting. It is a relief and a blessing to go with "just for today".

It was the other day , I saw an old associate,then started yelling at me about something from the past.They were lit up on something.I walked away ignored them.They were still yelling as I got in my truck and leaving.That is when a lot of reading in the JFT Book were used.Just For Today I did not have to act out on what the person was saying.
Still projecting "if Eric stays clean he doesnt have to live in a box,have a "regualr life" etc..Just for today" its his "game plan and out of my hands and into Gods.My immediate prayers are it doesnt take him "the 25 years " it took me to surrender>
