Manon I can sooo relate to fear. Before entering recovery (BTW - still very new) I truly had my "sick & twisted" addict mentality believing I wasn't afraid of anything. Deep down somewhere I always knew I was full of it but we tell ourselves anything to justify our actions. Even almost 3 mos in I am freaking scared to death every single day. I've really been in self will for the last couple of weeks and we all know an isolated addict is a walking time bomb. I am anyway. Just wanted to say you are not alone in this and never will be. I also really liked what you said about "facing everything & recover" & "All I have to do is believe" because that's where I am desperately trying to stay at in my recovery just for today. So. Thanks for the post it really helped me flip my thinking. Hope things get better soon. Hang in there.
