Well my old NA sponsor ended up in jail. ISn't there a publication that he can get from NA or H and I. I know they stopped printing MBM.

Please contact the World service Office at www.na.org and request copies of Reaching Out, which is a jail and institutions bound publication !

okay do you know if that publication can be mailed to jail directly? just curious not trying to pry or anything, he is just really desparate for some NA lit

Yes sure man.
And if it is within the Continental US, it gets there real quick.
In fact they also have collect call facilities at WSO, so you can even call em for free nd enquire !

There's a special NA booklet especially written for addicts in prison, by members who have been there, found recovery and managed to stay clean in there with the help of the NA program...

This booklet is called "Behind the Walls", just last sunday we had a H&I Learning Day here at my local fellowship, and one issue discussed and explored was H&I at prison facilities, and there was this suggestion that our Literature Translations Committee be requested to translate this booklet into the local language so that many in the prison who can only read the local language (which is the case here) get an opportunity to read this part of the literature specially designed for addicts in Jails, written by addicts in Jail...

Hey, thanks. Im glad to hear that Bangalore is getting that literature translated ! 
Good show, hope is dose not take too long though !
Remember the xperience with the other IP's ?
Those guys took 10 odd years for translating two pamphlets !, 

Im certain you can encourage them to do it quicker this time !
