Dear lord please surround Liz and her family and friends with your mercy and light, so that she is enveloped by your love, and knows you are there with her, and that she is safe and need not fear whatever lies ahead. Help us through this as well, we are truely powerless, and in your care.

I remember a day that I felt so defeated looking up at my ceiling I felt like punching a hole through the sheet rock and wrapping a rope around a rafter and hanging myself but I didn't even have the strength to stand.
My hope and prayers are she will be alright whatever has happened.
I still have suicidal thoughts at times but enough experience has shown me that all things pass in time, bad feelings or even deeds don't need to be judged there just bad feelings and old ways that need changing, fear anger resentments today takes me back to the 10th step and shows me a way out, it's a tool for us to work in good times and bad times.
IF your on step one you can work step 10, 11 even 12,
In the Twelfth Step, we practice the spiritual principles of giving the N.A. message of recovery in order to keep it. Even a member with one day in the N.A. fellowship can carry the message that this Program works.
