I have a hard time staying straight for very long, is there a morning meetng on-line. I have a hard time staying clean until the 10 pm meeting. If not that is cool cause no matter what using will not be one of my options anymore and if i gotta wait till 10:00 pm then so be it. Welcome Sabrina. Thanks for posting. Are there any face to face meetings in your area? If not there are other chatrooms where they will start a meeting for you if you need one. I don't know if they do that here or not. One of the regulars here can probably tell you. I visit the board only since I'm on a work computer. Good luck, Sabrina.

Thank-you. I will be going to tonites on-line meeting here, hope I find some of the chats u mentioned. We only have 2 meetings a week and my family prefers that I don't go cause it just may be embarassing for them. I won't let that get in my way and will find a way to work the program from wherever :) I was hoping to do my 90 in 90 here on-line. Nice meeting you dan h

Hello BigV, dusted off all my books, my AA Big Book, my Twelve Steps and Traditions and of course my NA book. they are the same ones handed to me 23 years ago. They are in mint condition, shoulda read em more -I might have been better off if I had. Oh well can't change the pass. Looking forward to a bright, sober, straight future. Thank-you, those books are staying by my side from now on.

I LOVED the NA book when i picked it up and started reading, they wrote that book for me to me I read the AA book only for years and found myself going HUH? just to many times, when I started reading the NA book I went AH HAH

welcome sabrina, I hope that you'll find you way to local meetings. It's better for your family to risk embarrassed (really don't see that happening) then to be burying you. This disease kills people. You post reminds me of my favorite AA joke.
A women is attending a funeral of, the husband of an old high school friend. After the ceremony she walks over to the widow and asks "what happen to Fred?", the widow replied "it was the alcohol, it finally got to him". Then the friend asked "well why didn't he just join AA?", Angrily the widow replies "HE Wasn't That Bad!"
hehehe love it Great joke -but lots of truth in it, I love that kind of humour!
Oh and a little update: I have a week clean & sober. I am feeling much better. Slowly getting out of the fog, found lots of on-line litterature both AA and NA, found my family -the fellowship again. Feels really great to have another chance at recovery when we all know that not everyone has that chance and alot of people are still out there. suffering and using.

well mint not quite has a few notes from members, a couple of phone numbers, a few dried flowers but in beautiful condition, if u would still like to trade I would be more than happy to if u care to have my Third Edition :)
