The vast majority of addicts ( my opinion ) quit on thier own. Its sickening . Its hard but can be done.
There are sticky note threads on this board. one says narcotics anonymous links. Use that to start finding a meeting in your area. That may be the most important first step. Get him to a meeting fast.

get to some meetings if you have them in your area, get the NA book and start reading but above all stop using keep posting here letting us know more about yourself and you situation so we might help mate
