Yes its just one day more to go for me to get on the flight to UK. Its a dream come true,, study and probably work part time in a foreign country. Ill get my masters. Then theres J. my beloved,,,I get to meet her at last,, after an internet and phone dating/chatting/sharing relationship of nearly one year. Then theres also a bit of sadness in leaving my daughter of 13. Ive been a single parent to my baby since she was 3. Shes an NA baby and I had my first glimpse of uncoditional love with her. But now Im leaving her in the care of my mother. Im hoping this will work out. My dauhter and I have discusse feelings,thoughts and actions and we are quite ok. The comforting thing is the way we communicate. Ive asked baby to be very forthcoming in her sharing of feelings with me,, and yes,, im doing study and work abroad not only for me but also hopefully to get my daughter also to study or visit there. My mothers ok with this arrangement. What would I ever have done without Ma ??? Weve been together for 47 years now. Childhood,teens,troubled teens,young vagabond adult, music scenes, drug abuse,recovery,, marriage, seperation,divorce,single parenthood,death of Pa,success in propery develpment,success in music, success in hobbies,,,,,,, my mas been there with me thru it all. Strange for others maybe but in Inda quite common to see mutual support and friendship between parents and children for many many years. So maybe Ma too feels a little lonely after Im gone,,but I know shell cope. And yes<< i will miss my baby and Ma too,,, but this is a payoff,,, after being two decades in recovery i had to do somethng different and God s given me this new venture. And im also looking forward to the many meetings I will be able to attend in the area wher Ill live in the UK. And yes,, yall have been there,, and will be,, so I can share more recovery and feelings with you.. Yes indeed,, sunrise its a new day dawning !! OH MAN Ramon only 1 day away i am so Happy for you Bro you must be very excited this is amazing. I remember awhile back you posted very distressed over not being able to leave and now a window of opportunity has opened wide for you. I wish you all the best with J especially , with schooling you get your masters degree and so much more.
You are so fortunate to have your Mom there for you and your Daughter. Me and my Ma are also pretty close she is a wonderful lady and especially what she endured with having several of us addicts in her life , that poor woman went through hell and back again, she is a strong woman and my role model that I will never in a millions years be able to live up to, not even close but each day I stay clean is in part for her , I dont want her to hurt or worry any more.
SO Gods Blessings are upon you take the day and RUN with it all the way.
Cool~! Ramen and I are both embarking on our journey's to new lands in 1 day~! Tomorrow is my last day at work, and then I'm off Thursday morning~! I can't wait, wish I was already there!!!
Tonight a group of about 15 of my NA friends took me to dinner, it was great fun. Loads of laughs~! I'm gonna miss them a lot~!

fab thing eh Golden ?/ to have a change !! Vin,, my mas form an alcohilc background. Her Pa, two brothers ,husband(my father) and son(my younger bro) are all alcoholics. My two uncles and grandpa died direct of alcohol. My younger bros been in and out of recovery,, Pa was a drinker that loved to be drunk in the evenings.. So I gave her the distinction of having an addict in her life too,,, me !! Hahaha !! Thank God for the 12 Steps !!

yes Dan,, im about 6 odd hours to the flight as of now. Just finished with a birthday cake cutting and song for my girl all of 13. her bdays on the 25th but cause papa wont be here we cut the cake tonite. im greatful that i could afford to gift my child with a brand new digital piano. """responsible and productive member of society"" haha !! Im now taking her and my little niece out to dinner in a nice place here. (that place has memories cause thats where my long time friend at WSO Jeff, me Nat and Betul had lunch when they were here for the WWWorkshop on recovery and service) (I d just met Jeff in person after knowing him via mail and letters for 16 years before that. I saw him again year fore last,,, but now Jeffs dead,, my oldest NA friend died after heart problems early this year !!RIP buddy !)
im getting to the airport early so i can get enough time for checked baggage and do any alterations that maybe necessary !!! and most of all i will think of us who have found a new way of life !!! As long as I keep yall in my mind,, I have nothing to fear . God Bless yall in your recovery,,, and if youre already Blessed,, then God stay yall blessed !!!
