Don't work your recovery like I baked a pie last night. UGH.
I have not baked a pie since childhood. Husband brought home 2 free bushels of Golden Delicious apples form WA the other day. (Don't ask... we are in Ohio)
I thought, "I will pawn off some, and bake some pies too."
I thought I "KNEW WHAT I NEEDED" at the grocery store. WRONG. I got home and peeled and cored and started to unfold the ready-made pie crusts. I had NO FLOUR for the filling. Back out in the snow to the store.
Then I got it all assembled. Put the top on and pinched around the edges, cut slits in the top. OOPS. I forgot to add butter to the filling. So I tried to cut thin slices off a stick of butter and wedge them through the slits. UGH.
Follow directions? What directions? I can do this on my own!!! Yah, right.
We shall see how she tastes today. But lesson learned.
If there are instructions, read them before you start. I can't work the program like I bake a pie.
So How was it Joni did you have to poor sugar all over it to make it taste good :) I did that once and a blop of vanilla icecream makes anything taste good :P

this reminds me of what a member shared in a meeting...
"Without a program, life is like a soup sandwich. No matter how you make it, you always wind up with a mess. "
