SOMEBODY SAVED ME

By: Jayson Cole

As I walked though the valley of shadow of quilt.

I take a look at my life and realize there's not much left.

I roamed the streets at night.

I learned how to steel and learned how to fight.

I fought I lied, and did anything to get drugs.

I hurt people that I loved to much.

Sometimes the way I felt was like my life is out of luck.

The demons were so close they were clutting around and around me.

My face never showed emotion.

Hiding the pain that burned inside me.

I would scream at night.

Somebody save me Please I don't care how you do it.

Only god holdest the key to my freedom.

My life is charging fast who I am is a man with a heart of a survivor.

Wait a minute thats the old me standing there.

I thank god the demon inside me dead.

A part of me is dead and in the ground.

Now I feel like it's enough.

And I don't regret this life choice for me.

I know Jesus and I talk to god everyday.

Faith,Hope, and love are what freed me.

Jayson, I always enjoy your writings. You have an amazing talent for describing feelings that are oftentimes very difficult to express. Thank you for continuing to share your thoughts with us.
