Hi Blithe,,i just read the birthdays post. Glad to know youre going on 22,,,and yes,,sometime s I do feel like a fossil,, till someone like you comes along !!! I also had the previlege of meeting Tom from US with 37 years clean in Nepal the year early on. there was also some with 22,25,28,, I guess thats the advantage of going to Conventions,,,a dn the one in Nepal in the Himalayas is attended by the International Fellowship. A Greater Energy thn mine got me to drive there and back in my jeep,, a trip of about 5000 miles,,, Call it clean and crazy but that was a life time thing to do !!!!

Yes, I will be 23 in January and have already entered the dinosaur stage of recovery. I will try not to become fossilized!
I love that you are meeting others with long-term recovery. My sponsor is pushing 30 and his sponsor is - I don't know - ancient, I think!
Someday I hope to attend a convention in your part of the world. When that happens, I will let you know and we'll see if your jeep can bring you so we can share an NA hug and a meeting together. I look forward to that day!
