Hi there..I hope all is well in your neck of the woods. I thought I'd write and let you know what I have found out..Well I have had 2 strokes..It took awhile to figure out what was going on with me, because my symptoms were so broad. I have Lupus..I have had it for a long time and because it was left undiagnosed and untreated it did a lot of damage..I don't know if you know much about the disease..It mimics almost everything..It's an auto-immune disease and it can attack all your organs...Finding the enlarged pituitary was just chance..The reason I had the strokes is because it is attacking my heart..My blood pressure was a steady 175/120 for like 2 weeks and my pulse was 115-120..with that kind of BP your bound to have strokes..I am on a blood pressure medicine now and it seems to be helping..I haven't had another stroke anyways..As far as treatment goes..I have decided to stay away from western medicine as it has almost killed me...The treatments they use for Lupus are really hard on your body..I know a nurse who has Lupus and she did the western medicine route and almost died..She now uses herbs and hasn't been sick for a long time. So I'm going to try the herbal route. As of right now..I am using fish oil and the blood pressure med..But as soon as I find an herb for that, I will cut that one out too. I am on a super healthy lifestyle change..I'd say diet, but it's not really a diet. I am exercising as much as possible too. I'm to young to die. I have 4 beautiful children who need me..This whole experience has brought me closer to God..It's funny how life works. As far as the growth on my brain goes..well, That's for God to decide. I will not have brain surgery or radiation. The risks are way to high. Now that I know what I'm dealing with, I feel alot stronger. The not knowing was the hard part. Having everyone think your crazy or a wimp was hard too. The vain part of me hates that I have weird discolorations on my face and I can't be out in the sun with out protection for very long..Oh well..I know it could be worse..I could be bald..LOL! I'd soooo cry..Yeah that's right. I can be tough about a damn brain tumor but take away my hair and I'm a blubbering crybaby! Maybe it's in the gene's??? Okay..That's enough outta me..PS. Pray Cory as much as you can. Take plenty of advice before using any certain herbs and trust people's experiences. I believe that you can never get enough opinions/advice from qualified people. I have also been taking herbal medicine for sometime now, for my liver condition, and I find them quite effective and healing in taking care of my health condition... Hope it works for you too, Cory...
I'm also into a healthy, balanced, nutritious three-meal diet nowadays... been doing it for a month now and you know what, I have lost about 5 Kilos of my weight as a result. Exercise is one thing I must somehow make time and space for too in my daily routine...
