withdrawl after 2 uses?

Hi, I'm not really sure who to ask about this, especially since it's really a matter of curiousity more than anything. I figure there is probably more wisdom here on the subject than most anywhere.

I'm a fairly typical recreational drug user.. mostly marijuana, which for years and years i abused, i've recently quick smoking cigarattes and smoke pot at most a couple times a week.

My experience with opiates has been pretty minimal, maybe 30-40 doses of at most 3 or 4 vicodin or something like that, an oxy here and there, etc.. over maybe 5 years. Usually somewhat clumped together in terms of frequency, though I've never really binged on it.

This will probably sound silly to some of you, but here it goes. I had a headache, and was given a tylenol 4. Maybe 3 days later i had a 10mg methadone pill, and 2 days afte that, a 10mg vicodin. Then 2 days later, I had what i thought / think was food poisoning, i spent all night in absolute misery, vomitting in near delirium, after which i'd feel much better, only to be overcome with nausea and pain some more.

The thing is, for the days before every meal i had was eaten by other people as well, none of whom got sick. It occured to me maybe I was going through withdrawl without even knowing it

I am a recovering pill head..And considering that you have used opiates in the past without withdrawl like sypmtoms I'd say no that was not withdrawl. I however have know people who have taken everything from Tylonol 3 to Oxcy's and been fine, but take even 5 mg's of Methadone and they were violently ill. Even after they have used it "successfully" in the past. Hope that helps..BTW just my here...Opiates are a scary drug to play with. Once they get you, they never let go...I remeber when it was fun to pop two Vicodan. I also remember when I had to take 600 mg's of Oxcycontin just to keep from being sick. That's enough to kill 5 people! So my warning to you is..Be careful, your playing with fire.
