Hi folks,,,

 thanks for being there as i share a great experience with you !!!!

I played last weekend at the Indian Navy Ball,, in a city thats about 500 miles from here !!!

I dove there in my jeep and played well that nite.

Good vibes all around,,we played dance and rock and roll and the 3000 crowd loved us !!!

It felt good to be part of a great effort !!!

and to Live the Program in a place where everyone (expect me and maybe few others that i dont know of)was drinking and drunk and rollicking !!

HOWEVER,,, i wasnt really satisfied because thats how it is,,,

so i wanted to do something different !!!

As we drove back to my city ,, about 30 miles along  i see a sign that says

CHIMNEY DAM,,,

and me and my two groupies take that road !!

The state that we are in is known as Gods Own Country in the media,,,and i cmae to know why,,,

incredible natural surroundings.

Then we were at the dam and took a small trek towards a cool spot .

I Meditated on our Program of recovery,,the bebefits id got and what i need to improve on.

then we get a small raft and i sit there naked on it and Meditate some more !!

You know,,, to be there in the birthday suit,, in nature and feeling the cool breeze hit your body and looking at the water expanse and the hills made me feel energized !!

i was also making my mind up to swim the half mile bak to starting point and was wondering it there was snakes in the water,,weeds etc that could make it dangerous !!

then a voice says

"Get out of the water !!"

I do so reluctantly and we beging our trek back !!

Then our boy says "look" and we look to see a long silver colour serpent caught in a net !!

I got my answer,, it wasnt safe to swim in these waters.

The woman in the tea shop,,, whos community has been in these forests for more than a thousand years says that was a diamond back sea snake thats very dangerous as a bite usually kills,,

she also claimed therea are water pythons in these waters !!!

Good thing i heard """THE VOICE """in time !!

well we head on back to my city,, me feeling really energetic and very serene !!

In one of the hamlets alonng the way we had a chance to Twelve Step!

then the road takes us again into a forest,, its early morning and we see satg passing by,, so i switch off the engines so as not to disturb wild life !!

I let the jeep roll down,,, at the end of the incline im about to start when i feel the vehicle move backwards !!

Were shocked how this is happening and we let it roll backwarsd and at the end we start and rollbak down hill again and then it happens again,,

and agin ,,

so as confounded as we are ,,, i still get out of the jeep and check whether theres a reverse incline but no,, we just rolled downhill !!!

so one last time we go on back uphill and roll down and lo and behold it happens again ,,, we roll reverse again !!!

and none of us three are stoned or under any illusion whatsoever so

this i think is a mystery of the unexplained !!

the we go along with heavy mists and i feel like im on another planet,,,

someplace far away from earth,,, but im also Praising God for this wonderful Recovery !!!

Then at daylite im back on plain ground and were about 80 miles form my city and im doing about 90 miles an hour and enjoying the speed,the power and also the glory of being clean and seeing another day rise !!

For someone from a citry of 10 million people ans smog and noise and hurry,,, this is an incredible experience !!

Then i feel like im gping to nod and carry on anyway till i hear

""THE VOICE"" again,,, saying

"""Just pull over and crash,, right now """

My little girl calls on the mobile just then .I talk with baby mine for sometime and decide to crash for sometiem,, so i do !!!

I get up an hour or so later !!!! We slowly start off,,, then we come to the spot on an incident,,,

we see a car all smashed to pieces,,,then a passrby says

"happened last nite,, most probably slept at the wheel,, all three of em dead "

That got me to a shocking realization that speed may thrill but can also kill !!!

The trip was great,,, some lows but mostly all highs,,, and one things certain,,,Higher Power was there all the time,,,

seeing i dont get drunk,, dont fight,,,dont spend out,,,dont get high on drugs !!

 and yes be a good comany to be with !!!

learning to relate  more on real terms with (normal)(other than Program) people !!

and most of all the Meditation came on realy strong,,, a great gift !!

I think that travelling brings out many facets of my character that otherwise stay hidden,,, and i get to knoe many better parts of my TRUE SELF !!!!
